Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 12, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of SkyScribe(“the service”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
SkyScribeis an AI Clinical Operating System for qualified medical practitioners. It helps you document consultations, admissions, discharges, operations and procedures; draft prescriptions, referrals and other clinical documents; order investigations and route them to your clinic’s staff workspaces; and surface clinical decision-support, scores, and safety checks. Every AI output is a draft that you review, edit, and explicitly approve before it is entered, prescribed, or issued.
2. Eligibility
You must be a qualified, registered medical practitioner (or authorised clinical/administrative staff acting under one) and at least 18 years old to use the service, and you must use it only within the scope of your registration, competence, and applicable law. By using the service you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. Your Account and Clinics
- Provide accurate, current information when creating your account, and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- A clinic owner/admin may invite other clinicians and staff; each has their own signed-in profile and their own usage. Data is scoped to the clinic you are working in.
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
4. Clinical Responsibility
- The service supports — it does not replace — your professional judgment. You remain solely responsible for every diagnosis, prescription, order, and clinical decision.
- AI outputs are drafts and AI suggestions are advisory prompts only; you must review and verify them before acting.
- Deterministic checks (clinical scores, allergy/interaction/renal-dose, critical values, dosing) assist you but do not discharge your duty to independently verify every dose and decision. Seed reference data is for development/demonstration; production use requires a licensed clinical data source.
5. Organisation Accounts and Seat Licences
- A hospital, clinic, or other organisation may purchase a licence covering a stated number of clinician seats. In that case the organisation — not the individual clinician — is our customer and is responsible for all fees.
- The organisation’s administrator assigns and revokes seats. A seat is consumed by each clinician who creates clinical documentation; reception, nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, and other operational accounts are included at no additional charge and consume no seat.
- Where a licence includes an AI usage allowance, that allowance is POOLED across the organisation rather than capped per clinician, so one clinician’s heavier use draws on the shared allowance.
- If your access is granted through an organisation, your right to use the service lasts only as long as that organisation maintains its licence and keeps you assigned to a seat. Revocation of your seat ends your access to that organisation’s workspace.
- Revoking a seat removes ACCESS ONLY. Clinical records, notes, orders and results already entered remain in the organisation’s record, attributed to the clinician who created them, as required for medical record-keeping.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
- For an individual clinician, the subscription is ₹999 / month, billed via Razorpay and renewing automatically until cancelled. Organisation seat licences are quoted by seat count and invoiced to the organisation.
- The prices shown to you at checkout are the prices that apply. Applicable taxes may be added.
- Cancellation and refund terms are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. AI Usage Allowance and Fair Usage
Your subscription includes a monthly AI usage allowance. For an organisation seat licence the allowance is pooled across the organisation; for an individual subscription it is your own. Usage is shown in the app as a simple percentage of the applicable allowance consumed. We reserve the right to apply reasonable limits to protect the speed and availability of the service for everyone.
8. Recharges (Top-Ups)
- Optional one-time recharge packs — currently ₹399 and ₹599 — add further AI usage allowance to your account for the current billing cycle.
- Your remaining allowance from a recharge is shown as a percentage; recharges add to that allowance.
- Recharges are non-refundable, and unused recharge allowance expires at the end of the billing cycle in which it was purchased.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to disrupt it, accessing it by automated means outside its intended interfaces, entering unlawful content, entering data you have no authority to provide, or using it outside the scope of your professional registration.
10. Data and Records
You retain rights to the clinical data you enter. Where you work within a hospital or clinic, that organisation is the record-keeper and controller of its patient records; where you practise independently, you are. You grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to provide the service. Deleting records is restricted to the organisation’s owner — an individual clinician cannot delete another’s clinical entries, and revoking a clinician’s access never deletes what they documented. Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy. You can download and delete your records from the app.
11. ABDM / ABHA and Health-Information Exchange
- Where you enable ABDM / ABHA features, YOU (the facility and the treating clinician) are the Data Fiduciary. You are solely responsible for registering and maintaining your own ABDM credentials and facility (HFR) registration; for obtaining and recording valid patient consent before any record is linked or shared; for verifying patient identity; and for complying with the ABDM Health Data Management Policy, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, and all applicable law.
- SkyScribe acts only as a software tool / Data Processor that transmits health information strictly on your instruction and only against a valid ABDM consent artefact. It does not itself obtain patient consent, does not decide what is shared, and accepts no responsibility or liability for your consent, disclosure, linking, or compliance decisions.
- You are responsible for ensuring any ABHA created or linked through the service is done with the patient’s knowledge and authorisation, and that ABDM features are used only within the scope of your ABDM registration and approvals.
12. Intellectual Property
The application, its software, content, and branding are owned by the operator of SkyScribe. These Terms grant you a limited, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer any ownership in the platform to you.
13. Limitation of Liability
- The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- We accept no liability for clinical decisions made on the basis of AI-generated drafts or suggestions; the service is an informational and documentation aid, and all clinical decisions must be made by the qualified practitioner.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
14. Termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, with notice where practicable. Where your access is provided through an organisation, it also ends if that organisation’s licence lapses or your seat is revoked. On termination the organisation retains its clinical records and can export them; we do not delete patient records as a consequence of a billing event.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the service.
